Yes a mortgage can also be arranged for these purchases, but again the same mortgage criteria apply as all other property purchases in Spain. That is, there is a minimum purchase price, the age applicant does not exceed 65 and the income requirements of Spanish banks are met.

Note: for commercial property financing are expected revenues NOT included in the mortgage application. The purchase is equivalent to a purchase for private use and thus the requirements for income or assets are the same. Both for Spanish banks and in culture, it is not customary to look to the future for your application, but your history and the present.
